Be careful, it's not what it seems. We were installing a two hose portable AC unit in our garage, and wanted this to be the "intake" port on the outside. The intake hose is 5", and this says it's for a 5" duct. The way it is photographed, it looks square but that's because of the angle. This thing is rectangle, and is designed for a wide, narrow rectangular duct. Not a round one. There is not a photograph anywhere on the web of the back side of this. I wish I had taken a picture before returning it. Not even sure why they say it's for a 5" duct, the slot is something like 10" wide. Two stars because it is well made.

I came upon this product by entering 5" vent cap in the search bar and selected this particular item because of the price.. The product description says it "accommodates 5" duct" which I suppose would technically be true of virtually any vent on the market provided you use enough transitions or fittings to transition to that size. The thing that makes this product different from the others that came up in the search is that the description for this one implies it is actually made for that duct size. In reality, in order to make it "accommodate" a 5" duct, you have to use a transition which adds both depth and cost so, if you are truly searching for a 5" vent cap, keep searching. I didn't actually pay any attention to the quality because i was so put out by the deceptive description.

Gray color exhaust vent was better choice than standard dryer vents due to slightly larger size. I used it to exhaust air from wood shop vacuum system. Unit is more robust than standard dryer vents and has cover to keep rodents out.

The antenna works very well however the nut on the "F" type connector at the end of the Coax from the antenna was distorted (out of round) and the connector would not properly screw onto the Television set or onto the amplifier. It did work after a fashion but not really a nice signal connection. Otherwise it is a nice antenna and a Great bargain buy.

Exactly as described. Much better than the flimsy white louvers often used. This one is installed in Canada, where the downward face and the solid flap valve should help keep out snow and cold air. There is no knocking of the valve when my fan is blowing, as some have had with similar products. (This model has a small spring to absorb the buffeting that could cause knocking.) I paired it with an Aldes 5-inch round spring-loaded backdraft damper (my second one of those), so I am optimistic that next winter the house will feel less drafty. I painted the wall cap with Rust-Oleum 239122 multi-color textured spray paint (Rustic Umber) to blend it better with my brick facade.

I read otherwise after ordering, but this piece connects to 5 inch round duct. Five stars because it’s cheap, not great quality. You get what you pay for, fair enough.
