No where on this page does it list the NRR rating for this ear protection. The other Amazon listings for different colors of Walker's Low Profile Muffs do not give a NRR rating either. I went to the Walker's website to find it. impressively, on their own website, they list the NRR rating for all of their different ear protection EXCEPT for this one. However, the common response in many reviews and answered questions here on Amazon was that they had a NRR rating of 31. So I assumed that they were 31 NRR. That is wrong. They arrived and they are only 22 NRR. I really am not sure what to think about all the reviews that say they are 31. Fake reviews? I don't know. But the packaging clearly has the OSHA label on the back that states 22 NRR.I have the Walker's EXT Range Shooting Folding Muff and if offers far superior noise reduction. I thought these Low Profile Muffs would be comparable but they are not even close in the amount of noise they block out.If maximum noise protection is important to you stay away from these Low Profile muffs and purchase the Walker's EXT Range Shooting Folding Muff instead: If lighter weight and less bulk is more important then I would actually recommend these. They do appear to be nice quality at a nice price. Just know what you are getting here is not 31 NRR.

I wish I would have seen the reviews about them actually being only 22 NRR, and I'm not convinced they actually are. They are way too tight, the ear surround squishes your ear, and they don't keep out enough high DB sound to do any nice. I wanted a decent, inexpensive pair for my range bag, but standard ear plugs are cheap enough and do a much better job when I compared the two. I'm pretty sure my older Harbor Freights I use in the garage do a better job. I sent these back next day.

Not comfortable at all. The spring is too strong, which is required to clamp them tightly on your ears, since the padding is very firm. The band isn't long enough to go over the top of my head so I have to wear it to the back. Then the ear protectors don't fit because the angle is wrong. They don't seem to muffle voices at all, but they do change the pitch. Same with engine sounds. I wanted to use these for target shooting, but they won't do.

Bought these when my wonderful better half told me she wanted to learn to shoot...only thing better could have been told we had a green light for life. These combined with foam insert plugs are all you need. Without foam insert plugs they still provide extremely nice protection. I used them on the tractor as well as using the weed wip..Great job

I bought these to go shooting with since they have the lower profile and allow me to get a better cheek weld to my rifle. I'm an average size 6' male that wears L size for most hats/helmets. Stretched out to it's largest size these muffs BARELY fit me. If I am wearing a hat, these do not fit. Save this for your kids or your spouse. Men should go for a larger size.

Very nice . . . after you get them on. The mechanism for expanding is not welled oiled or something, and a little on the flimsy side. If you are not careful they can bend and get damaged while trying to expand. But nice comfort, nice sound blocking and priced cheap. Plus they look really cool.

We got these for my autistic son for monster trucks. They worked very well as he did not have any panic attacks.

These are the most uncomfortable ear muffs I have ever worn. The headband is very tight on your head. I realize it needs to be tight to get a proper seal on the ear cups, but not this tight. I can't wear them for more than a few minutes at a time. They also do not muffle machine noise enough and that make it hard to communicate in a noisy environment.

False listing!!! The web site clearly states that this product has a Noise Reduction Rating of 31dB. However, the package clearly states that it only has a Noise Reduction Rating of 22dB. Sending it right back!!
