Added this to my new Shield +, works perfectly. Took me a while to get it dialed in but once adjusted correctly, its been perfectly accurate. I love the auto on/off feature and the quality of the green dot seems very high. No plate needed for install as this is a direct mount for the S&W Shield +. I have the Trijicon RMR on my full sized M&P's and this feels a lot like it for much less money.
